Highlights:
The property is the site of the former Daniel's Harbour zinc mine which operated from 1975 to 1990 and produced approximately 7 million tonnes grading 7.5% zinc. Potential remains to locate extensions of mineralized zones as well discover new areas of zinc mineralization. Messina's recce work yielded spectacular samples of 40% to 60% zinc in grab samples; some 300 pounds of this material was donated for use as mineral specimens in provincial science teaching kits.
Messina's Daniel's Harbour property is generative in nature and is at an early stage of exploration.
