Healy Bay Project

PROSPECTIVE FOR:

Volcanogenic zinc-lead-copper-silver-gold massive sulphide deposits. Also mesothermal gold deposits.

PROPERTY SIZE:
  • 155 mineral claims

  • 3,875 hectares

  • 38.75 square kilometers
PROPERTY LOCATION:

Central Newfoundland.
25 km northeast by road from Messina's Boomerang mineral resource.
40 km southwest by road from the Duck Pond Mine.

OWNERSHIP INTEREST:

100% Messina with no underlying royalties.

Highlights:
Prospecting led to the discovery of red cherts similar to those found associated with copper-zinc massive sulphide mineralization at Messina's "Skidder Project" (see photos of the Skidder project drill core). Mapping has confirmed the similarity of rock types and depositional environment. The red chert horizon is 25 meters thick and has been traced for several kilometers. (See photos below).

Messina flew an airborne EM and magnetics survey in 2006 which has identified anomalies for ground follow-up.

This property is generative in nature and is at an early stage of exploration.
