Our employees are crucial to our success....

Newfoundland continues to evolve as a prolific mining region within Canada. In support of this sector and the local economy Messina has employed a highly skilled and experienced workforce from several surrounding communities.

We are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of workplace health and safety. Messina has participated in the Workplace Health and Safety "PRIME" program since 2005 and has met or exceeded compliance in this program in government audits for the years 2005, 2006, and 2007.

Our operations are supported and encouraged by government as part of its strategy to build the local economy.
