Volcanic and intrusive related uranium deposits covering felsic intrusives of the Topsails igneous suite and felsic volcanics of the Springdale group. Lake bottom samples collected by the Newfoundland Department of Natural Resources within Messina's claims have yielded widespread uranium, molybdenum, and fluorine geochemical anomalies.

OWNERSHIP INTEREST:
In July 2008, Messina completed the sale of the Topsails property to Altius Minerals Corporation ("Altius") of St. John's Newfoundland. The Topsails property is now included within the "Topsails Uranium Property" being explored jointly by Altius and JNR Resources Inc. Messina retains a 1% net smelter return royalty on the Topsails property.
